Jean was my second mother. I remember the days our families spent together at our cabin on the Wapsi River - no water - no electricity - just a lot of laughter and love. As Aunt Jean's nephew, from the very beginning she treated me like another Son. The many times she babysat with me were special and she always had a treat . . . be it cookies, ice cream, etc. And, the times camping at the Wapsie River cabin, vacations to Arkansas and camping at Coralville Lake were all based on her love for the outdoors and family.
