Memorial

Jean H. Niles, 78, of 1500 Red Fox Way, Marion, died Sunday, December 24, 2006, in St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness. Memorial services will be held at 10 AM Thursday in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev. Dave Loy of the Community of Christ Church will officiate. Inurnment in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet family and friends at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years Harvey, a daughter Debra Ann Ozburn and husband Jerry of Marion, a son John Niles and wife Michelle of Center Point, Iowa, four granddaughters Kimberly Dooley and husband Andrew, Kari Ozburn and special friend Jay Blahnik, Kelsey and Lindsey Niles, two great grandchildren Jacob and Megan Dooley, and her Aunt Marie Mahnke of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Dale Hinrichs.
Jean was born January 29, 1928 in Cedar Rapids to Clarence and Ruth Hepker Hinrichs. She married Harvey J. Niles on May 10, 1946 in Cedar Rapids. She had been a dental assistant and office manager for Dr. Wratten and Dr. Peterson. She was a member of Community of Christ Church. She enjoyed camping, boating, and family gatherings.
A memorial fund has been established.
