Joyce A. Vaughn, 66, of Cedar Rapids, died December 1, 2006 in her home following a brief illness. Services 3 PM Monday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate. Friends may call Monday from 2 PM until time of service. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include son Tony Vaughn and wife Cindy, son James L. Paris and wife Kim all of Cedar Rapids, and daughter Roxanne Bekaert and husband David of Omaha, Nebraska, sister Lois Laughlin of Eldon, and daughter in law Pam Vaughn of North Liberty. She is also survived by her 8 beloved grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John W. Vaughn, sons Dennis J. Vaughn, John M. Vaughn, and Hal Vaughn.

Joyce Ann Vaughn was born February 10, 1940 in Wapello County, Iowa the beloved daughter of Beryl A. and Alice L Schaffer Fite. She married John W. Vaughn on March 25, 1971 in Moline, IL. The greatest joy in her life was her grandchildren which she loved so dearly. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
