Memorial
Dionne Johansen, 36, of Cedar Rapid died November 27, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital following a brief illness. Memorial Service 10 AM Friday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev. Donald Klein of St. Pius X Catholic Church will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements and Cremation entrusted to Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband Jay Johansen of Cedar Rapids, mother Shane Patton of Hiawatha, father Harold Kuddes and wife Carol of Center Point, brother Jeff Kuddes of Cedar Rapids, brother Terry Kuddes of Cedar Rapids, grandmother Mabel Kohlmeyer of Janesville, Iowa, father in law Cole Johansen of Cedar Rapids, mother in law Sue Johansen of Cedar Rapids, nephew Colton Kuddes of Cedar Rapids, niece Amber Kuddes of Colorado, niece and nephew Zachery and Cora Johansen of Cedar Rapids, brother in law Derek Johansen and wife Vallerie of Cedar Rapids step sisters Kristi Sulentic and husband David of Cedar Rapids and Kelly Walt and husband Greg of Hiawatha, step nieces and nephews Trent Mohwinkle, and Erica and Jenna Sulentic. She is also survived by her two beloved dogs Maggie and Samba, as well as several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Lester Kohlmeyer, grandparents Norman and Bridget Kuddes, uncles Dennis Kohlmeyer and Frank Kuddes, and grandmother in law Lillian Schwitters.
Dionne Lynne Johansen was born December 11, 1969 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the beloved daughter of Harold James Kuddes and Shane M. Patton. She married Jay M. Johansen on July 30, 1988 in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed going to concerts, being with friends and family, home decorating and her dogs. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or to The Make a Wish Foundation.
