Our family is sorry to hear of your loss. Our daughter Lauryn was very fond of Mrs. Yoder. She was in her class along with Mrs.Songer in AK. We had met her and talked with her a few times at various Truman events. She was a very intelligent and caring woman and she will be missed by all the Truman students, staff, and any other people who were lucky enough to to meet her and get to know her. Ashleigh/Yoder Family, I am so sorry for your loss and I can only imagine how hard the last few months have been. I will always remember your Mom as a strong woman and very committed to you girls and her family. All of the memories of "Flying J's" volleyball and the weekends away with the girls will put a smile on my face. I know Larissa will have fond memories of seeing Julie when she was "hanging out" at the Yoder house! Julie made us smile with her humor and quick wit. I know that your loss is unbearable now but I pray that her memory and the love within your family will give you strenth in time. I am glad to have known Julie! Dear Larry, Ashleigh, Casey, Halle and the rest of Julie's family- Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. We were all so fortunate to know Julie and to learn from her example. I loved the way she "lived in the moment" and cherished everything her daughters' did. We enjoyed getting to know the Yoder family better in Minnesota 2 summers ago. Julie was so funny how she wanted to go out on every fishing trip with her family. Us girls couldnt quite understand that! What a wonderful woman. Her kindness, her gentle ways, her sense of humor will be missed. Thankfully she will live on in her beautiful daughters. We can take comfort in knowing she is at peace and watching ever so closely over us. Please let us know if we can do anything for you. I was skimming the obits as I always do to be certain I am still alive each day. I was saddened to see I face I recognized although I didn't know how I knew her. Perhaps she has been one of my customers or I have just seen her "around". As I read further, I see she was Jeff's sister and I am a friend of Trish. My sympathies are with you all at this most difficult of times.

Dear Larry, Ashleigh, Kasey and Halle: I feel blessed that Julie and I got to be so close over the last 15 years. She was such a good friend. I have many fond memories being next door neighbors, with our kids growing up, long walks at night, going to craft shows, shopping trips to the Mall of America wow could she shop! and to Florida with Bill & Mary just to name a few. Julie had such a wonderful sense of humor, a contagious smile - she truly was a beautiful person inside and out. Ashleigh, Kasey and Halle – your mother was so proud of you and loved you so very much. She truly will live on through each one of you. Larry – please call if you should need anything. Yoder Family, We are so sorry to hear about Julie. She was so proud and devoted to her family. We remember spending the whole day with her at volleyball meets when the girls were in club volleyball. She was always so fun to be around and I know she was very close to the girls on the team. This is a very sad and heart-wrenching time, but I know you all are "survivors" and don't be afraid to smile at the memories you have. Julie will be missed by all of us. To all of Julie's family & friends, It came as a real shock to learn about Julie's passing. I read that she had passed in a recent email about the 25th Class of '83 reunion being planned for 2008. I grew up in Cedar Hills with Julie and played volleyball with her at Jefferson. I teach in Evanston, IL and always thought it was great that she taught in our former elementary school, Truman. I'm sorry to have learned about this so long after the fact. I pray that her family and friends have found peace and comfort from the memories they share of her. Fondly, Noelle
