Theresa Kay Anderson, 48, of Cedar Rapids died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at her home following a long illness. Services: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home on Monday from 4PM to 8PM. The Rev. Barbara Schlachter will officiate.
Survivors include her husband, Kirk D. Schatzle of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Claire A. Schatzle and Maggie A. Schatzle both of Cedar Rapids; five sisters, Bev Warner of Cleveland, TX, Judy Milone, Ardith Morello, and Trish Anderson all of Omaha, NE, and Mary Freml of Harlan; and four brothers, Ed Anderson of Shelby, Jim Anderson of Omaha, NE, Bill Anderson of Lewisville, TX, and Tom Anderson of Strassburg, CO; and her parents, Howard and Catherine Anderson of Ute, IA.
Theresa was born January 24, 1958 in Onawa the daughter of Howard D. and Catherine H. Dixon Anderson. She married Kirk D. Schatzle on September 5, 1981 in Linn County. Theresa was a Wellness Consultant and Speaker. She was a member of Rotary West, the Junior Achievement, and was on the Board of Summit School.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy or to the Gift of Life Transplant House in Rochester, MN.
