Charlotte Lyons, 83, of Cedar Rapids died June 17, 2006 following a brief illness. Graveside Services 2 PM Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include son John Lyons and wife Maria of Bolingbrook, IL, grandsons Erik Lyons of Florida, Bradley Lyons and wife Janis of Cedar Rapids, Spenser Lyons of Cedar Rapids; grand daughters Dayna Lyons of Shellsburg, Robyn Lopez and husband Eduardo of Lakeview, AR, and Vicki Ward and husband Steven of Lindenhurst, IL. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Glenn H. Lyons, a daughter Shari K. Lyons, son Ricky R. Lyons, son Dennis G. Lyons, brothers Floyd Parsons, Ivan Parsons, sisters Ruth Clouse, and Ferne See.

Charlotte was born October 13, 1922 in St. Joseph Mo the beloved daughter of Walter and Ella Belle Cotton Parsons. She was united in marriage to Glenn H. Lyons on August 10, 1940 in Cahoka, Mo. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
