Donna J. Opdahl, 71, of 3320 Oriole Ct. NE, died Wednesday, November 16, 2005, in University Hospital in Iowa City following a very short illness. Memorial services at 3 PM Saturday in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Inurnment in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 2:30 PM on Saturday. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Surviving to honor her memory are her husband of 47 years Jack, two sons Kent Opdahl and wife Julie of Urbandale, and David Opdahl of Coralville, her sister Doris Lowe of El Cajon, California, and two grandchildren Jenna and Brett Opdahl both of Urbandale. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers William and Russell Higgins.
Donna was born June 12, 1934 in Des Moines, to William and Alice Swanson Higgins. She married Jack B. Opdahl on September 14, 1958 in Des Moines.
