Memorial

Steven Lee Kreutzer, 79, of Marion, Iowa passed away Friday, November 6, 2026. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation and start at 2:00 PM. 

Steven was born August 6, 1947, to Leland and Marilyn (Heddinger) Kreutzer in Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School. After high school, he proudly served in the United States Airforce during the Vietnam War. Steven worked as a bricklayer for over 40 years. He married Penny Lacock on May 29, 1973. She passed away in 2017. He married Diane Jess on June 5, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He enjoyed camping at Bobber’s, playing pool, golf, and bags, and cheering on the Hawkeyes, Packers, and the Cubs. Steven was an avid bowler and even made the Bowling Hall of Fame in 1995. Steven had the privilege to go on the Honor Flight in 2023. He loved his family and cherished their time together. 

Steven is survived by his wife, Diane Kreutzer of Marion; siblings, Kelly (John) Siegel of Tuscon, Arizona, and Denny Kreutzer of Cedar Rapids; along with many extended family members. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
