Roger Allen Boyles, 70, of Cedar Rapids, passed away June 5, 2026. A small family gathering will take place on June 29th.

Roger was born on April 30, 1956, the son of Richard Earl and Shirley Mae (Imhoff) Boyles. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School in 1974 and attended Kirkwood Community College. Before his retirement, Roger worked in the Health Services industry. He was an avid fisherman and woodworker. He also enjoyed history books and stories about the Civil War. Roger very much loved his two cats and had a cat most of his life.

Survivors include his mother and father, Shirley and Richard Boyles; sister, Deborah Boyles of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Jason (Laurie) Boyles of Marion and Josh (Shannon) Boyles of Montgomery, AL; six grandchildren, Matthew Boyles, Emily Boyles, Landon Boyles, Maddie Boyles, Noah Boyles, and Rowan Boyles. Roger also had many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Marilyn McConkey Boyles.
