Memorial

Roger Lee Smith left us to be with God on August 19, 2026.   He lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Private services will be held with Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, and private entombment.  

Roger is survived by his wife, Carolyn Solbrig Smith, daughter, Lorrelle Loomis and husband, David Loomis.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace Mills Smith and Leo Smith of Coggon, Iowa.  

Any memorials should be donated to the church of your choice in Roger’s name.  

The family wishes to thank the staffs of Prairie Hills Cedar Rapids and Mercy Hospice Care.    

Roger was a loving and caring man.
