Thomas Henry Debner, 89, of Walford, died peacefully in his home Friday April 10, 2026. A visitation will be held on Friday April 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home with Military Honors.

Thomas was born on October 1, 1936, in Charles City, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Maribea (Jones) Debner. He married the love of his life, Roseanne Larsen on July 23, 1966 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  

He proudly served in the United States Navy as a radio operator. He enjoyed farming, family, crosswords, anything Hawkeyes, watching ME TV, working at the Kernels and going to Tuesday night bingo.

Thomas is survived by his children, Larry Debner, Marvin Debner, Brenda Hansen, and Diana Hansen; his 2 sisters, Sharon  Adamson and Carole Lien; brother-in-law Richard Behrens; sister-in-law Betty Ann Debner; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Bob, Jerry, Jim and wife of 51 years, Roseanne Debner.
