Debra Peddycoart

Deb was my supervisor at F2 about 20 years ago. After I retired and moved back to Cedar Rapids, we become good friends, having lunch together several times a month. I learned a lot from Deb. She was a very compassionate woman and a very good friend. I miss her.

I worked with Deb for many years, when she was F2 Crisis Services Director. She was a truly kind and compassionate person, which extended to her dedicated and excellent work as a crisis services director. She very kind and supportive to me, helped further my career, and she will be missed beyond words.

David, I fondly remember my time volunteering at F2 with Deb. I thought the world of her and am incredibly sad for your loss. She was one of the most intelligent and compassionate women I have ever worked with and she selflessly helped thousands of people at times of great need in their lives. I pray you find peace in the love of family and friends in the days ahead.

David, I am so sorry for your loss. I am remembering Deb from my years as a crisis line volunteer at Foundation 2. What a bright, compassionate person she was who cared about and accepted all people. Thank you for sharing this lovely and natural picture of Deb. My sincere thoughts to her family, also.

Deb was one of my mother (Julie Morgan) best friends. I remember her fondly. I was just thinking of her and happen to look her up on google only to find her obituary. I’m so incredibly sorry for your family’s loss. She was an amazing person and friend to my mom. And although it may have been years since I have talked to her I still remember coming up to cedar rapids to the crisis center with my mom to visit as a kid. My heart goes out to her family, she will be in my thoughts and prayers.
