Memorial

Raymond Jay Loney, 71, of Center Point, Iowa passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories on Wednesday, July 23, 2025. A reception will follow the service and be held at Union Station, located at 1736 16th Ave SW Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404.

Raymond was born April 14, 1954, to Clifford and Merle (Floyd) Loney. He married Teresa Frondle on October 5, 1988, in Cedar Rapids. He gave over thirty years of service to Advance Builders. 

He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and floating the river. He had a deep passion for classic cars. Raymond was very kind, generous, and genuine. He loved all of his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

Raymond is survived by his sons, Gerry (Lisa) Loney, and Larry (Cindy) Loney; grandchildren; Cassandra, Elijah, Austin, Kenna, and Kaci; three great grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Donna) Loney, and Susie Parks; and his extended family. 

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, and his parents, and three siblings.
