I delivered meals to Vance and Merna on Tuesdays. Vance had his good days and bad, but Merna was always upbeat and so gentle with Vance. I wish I had known Vance in better times. My thoughts are with his family.

Dear Family- I am heartbroken that I am just now learning of Vance's passing. I send my deepest sympathies to you all, Vance was a dear family friend and my dad's(Tom Rosenberger) very close friend for years. I know they enjoyed hunting and fishing together as well as being in the trade. I remember Vance was always smiling , he had such a great expressive smile , and he was so very kind and jovial, such a positive presence to be around. Vance and Merna would always include us in their Christmas card wishes which I have always thought was so sweet and thoughtful .
