I loved getting ro know Lorraine. She was such a sweetheart! Such a dear lady! She will be missed.

I only knew Lorraine for a very short time but I became very fond of her immediately. She was very feisty which always made me smile. She liked her Cheerios, mashed potatoes and especially cookies!! She had a Great smile. I always looked forward to seeing her in the morning. She always called me miss. Miss, miss and when I couldn’t get to her right away it was MISS!!!!!!!😊She liked to do everything herself. She loved her spoon ring necklace that she wore every day. She always spoke about home on memorial drive in Cedar Rapids. I most certainly miss her. I will miss seeing her every day. She always told me she was a very special person and I always told her she was a very special person, because she was. She also seemed to like the color pink. I wish she could have been here longer so I could have enjoyed more times with her.

I was Lorraine supervisor at one time when she was at Options Linn County. I always enjoyed Lorraine and her spunk…… She was a very independent lady. I also knew that John Morris, who was the director of Discovery Lining, lived next-door, he and his wife also kept an eye on her and helped her when she needed help I was happy to see that Lorraine has lived along good life at 90 years old My loving thoughts and prayers to Lorraine‘s family
