I believe Jim knew me longer than I knew him, having grown up together in this community. With his son John at St. Paul's UMC and as John as classmate at Washington HS. I remember Jim at church, and at work at Smulekoff’s where he assisted my parents and I in the past, in our Tucker family business office needs. Joanne, we are grieving and praying for you, as well for family, Julia and Jeff. I enjoyed two conversations with classmates of John and Julia, who also grew up at St. Paul's and at school together. I can think back seeing my parents and Jim during his work and care. His passing brought back memories of all the Kimber family growing up here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
