Prudence Ann Petersen, 88 died Saturday December 7, 2024, at Cottage Grove Care Center surrounded by family. Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday December 16, 2024, at Bethany Lutheran Church. Inurnment: Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Don Petersen, her children, Michael (Lora) Raymon, Timothy (Ann) Raymon, Susan (Ron) Waits, Julie Moller and Don’s children Marshall (Jennifer) Petersen, Rod (Kimberly) Petersen, Mitchell (Beverly) Petersen, her sister Pam Landfried. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters and her husband James B Raymon.

Prudence was born May 13, 1936, in Geneva Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Elaine (Hammond) Peterson. She married James B. Raymon on June 17, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He passed away October 17, 1999. She then married Don Petersen on March 17, 2005, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Prudence was a homemaker, great cook and caring for her family was her pride and joy. She was active in the community and Bethany Lutheran Church. She loved her time at her home at the Lake of the Ozarks, spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, playing Bridge and attending Iowa Wrestling meets with Don.
