Memorial

DeVonna M. Pratt, 89, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday September 29, 2023. Graveside services are set for Thursday October 5, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday October 5, 2023, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. 

Survivors include her children, Juanita Lara of Blessings, Texas, Sandra J.  (Ed) Callan of Shellsburg, Iowa, and Matthew Pratt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, her siblings, Boyd (JoAnn) White of San Antonio, Texas, and Carma Harris of Waukon, Iowa, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Pratt, her daughter, Rose Duarte and her parents., brothers, Conrad and Neil White and a great-grandson, Tanner Port. 

DeVonna was born August 14, 1934, in Waukon, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Carlotta (Lier) White. She married Edward Pratt on June 18, 1954, in Waukon, Iowa. She was employed at Quaker Oats Company and D & J Dry cleaners. Her greatest love was being a homemaker and caring for her family. She was an avid Cardinal Fan and loved making arts and crafts. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
