Memorial

Patricia Burkhart, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, October 08, 2023, at Solon Nursing Care Center surrounded by family.  A visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Funeral service at 1:30 PM Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.  Private family burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. 

Survivors include her son, Douglas (Lori) Burkhart of Cedar Rapids, IA. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Joshua, Caleb, Joab, Ryan and Candace, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Harold Burkhart; three daughters, Kathy, Deb and Kim; grandson, Chris; two sisters, Mary and Rose. 

Patricia was born February 21, 1936, in Fort Madison, Iowa, the daughter of Dennis and Agnes (Kokjohn) Moline. She married Harold Burkhart on October 22, 1955, in Fort Madison, Iowa.  Patricia was full of love for her family and friends. She loved to dance with Harold. Her example of love and friendship will leave a lasting impact.
