She was a warm and sweet lady, and we enjoyed visiting with her and Curt whenever we visited my sister and brother in law, Jamie and Jerome Schmidt, who have been their neighbors for many years. Cathy helped me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer around the same time she was. We never met but had a great conversation on the phone about treatments I would go through. Talking to her helped me face a difficult journey, I knew she was a giving & loving person, although we never met I will never forget her. Thank you Amy for recommending I talk to her. Kathleen

Curt and family, I am so sorry. You are all like family, and I can hear Cathy’s voice and love for all of you. I will never forget Zach wrestling at state and sitting with Cathy, cheering and hoping and loving and fiercely protective. Love to all of you.
