Memorial

Marshall Samuel Grimm, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at The Views of Marion. Services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, 1:00 pm at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will begin at noon in The Chapel prior to the service. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Memorial Lawn.

Survivors include sons and daughters: Debby Aubrey of the Philippines and Donna Haman [Chris] of Cedar Rapids, and Dennis Grimm [Cathy] of Cedar Rapids and David Grimm [Debby] of Minnesota, along with eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Marshall was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Patsy, and his parents.

Marshall was born on July 28, 1935, in Urbana, Iowa to Lavern and Elma (Augustine) Grimm. He worked as a milkman for years, and later a used car salesman for McGraths. Marshall enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in the garden. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
