Lila M. Shupp of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on June 20, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at Kenwood Park United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids on Saturday June 24 at 10:00AM with visitation from 9:00-10:00AM.  Pastor Chuck Layton will be presiding.  A short graveside service will be held at Cedar Memorial Park with a luncheon following at the Family Center.

Lila Shupp was born January 7, 1928 on a farm near Colesburg, Iowa to Ed and Emma Brockmeyer.  Lila married the love of her life, Dwaine Shupp, on August 27, 1947.  She is survived by her sons Michael (Sharie) Shupp of Ames, Iowa and Steven (Cindy) Shupp of Council Bluffs, Iowa, three grandsons, Peter, Benjamin and Jason (Bailee), one granddaughter Carrie Wood, four great granddaughters Grace and Kelsey Wood, and Thia and Lydia Shupp.  She is also survived by two brothers Lloyd (Mary) Brockmeyer of Avon, IN and Roger (Margot) Brockmeyer of San Jose, CA, two sisters Evelyn Deen of Montrose, CA and Laurel Anderson of Bode, Iowa along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Dwaine, her parents, brother Homer and sister Melva.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her name to Kenwood Park United Methodist Church, 175 34th Street, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402.
