Jan I wish I had magic words to make it all better, but I don’t. I will say prayers for you and your family’s peace and comfort. Hugs to you.

Words are insufficient to express our saddness that Giacomo won’t continue to brighten our lives with his genuine smile, penetrating eyes, soft & persistent concern, compassion, curiosity, intelligence, and true friendship. And yet, he will continue adding to our lives by having known him and keeping him in our hearts and minds, and mentioning his name often. Our love and support are with you.

My deepest condolences to Giacomo's family. I worked with Giacomo at Carma Labs and occasionally helped him with his computer. I always appreciated his positive spirit, smile and stories. Even though I didn't get to see him much since the pandemic, I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers to your family.

My deepest sympathies to you Jan, Matteo & Melissa. Giacomo was a dear friend and a trusted colleague. I had the opportunity to visit Padova with Giacomo last year and the love he held for Italy while walking the streets and listening to him talk about his family was a truly remarkable experience that will not be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

While I can't imagine to understand the loss you are all feeling, we hope you know Giacomo will forever be in our hearts. He was a gem to work with at Carma, was always willing to help, teach and could make us laugh when we needed it most. We will miss having the pleasure of working with him every day but we will keep his memory alive with fond stories for many years to come.

Giacomo forever had a smile on his face. He cheered the halls of Carma every day. His passion for the product and the company will live on. My deepest condolences to his family, as the world is a little dimmer since he has left it. But he is someone who will never be forgotten.

My deepest sympathy to the Tormene family. I had the pleasure of working with Giacomo these past 8 years, sharing many memorable moments, conversations, and memories with him. He even invited me into his home and cooked me a wonderful homemade Italian dinner on one of my trips to Cedar Rapids. That is what I will remember and miss most dearly about Giacomo, his enthusiasm, generosity, and kindness.

When I think of Giacomo's passing, my mind clears of all the busy-ness of life and work. He was such an inspiration for many at Carmex, including myself. He has left us far too soon. I will miss his infectious smile and his contagious good will. He was so much more than a great person. I miss everything about him, well except maybe his driving. I heard there are no speed limits in heaven, so I'm sure he's already burn through the tires on the Ferrari! My deepest condolences to his wife and children. Do realize how very fortunate you are to have had this man as your partner and father. I will never forget you my friend. Godspeed.

Our deepest condolences to Jan, Matteo, and Melissa. Our family knew Giacomo as a gentle, caring, and funny individual thru scouting, show choir, and a men’s book group. He shared his joy of life with stories (biking across Asia !), drink (Prosecco and grappa are two he introduced us to), and food ( Italian Parmesan and expresso chocolates, wow). Giacomo, we will miss you dearly but you will not be forgotten. I for one will always smile when I think of you (and Aristotle :)).

I first met Giacomo when his son Matteo did his Eagle Scout project at the Indian Creek Nature Center. (It’s been a while.) Giacomo was a proud and supportive dad. We, the ICNC staff, are grateful for the Tormene-Bradley family’s continuing support and engagement as member-donors, starting more than a decade ago.
From the moment I met Giacomo I basked in the sound of his mellifluous voice. But I also appreciated his social nature, his charm, and discussing a shared favorite topic: Italy. He was always engaging on those rare occasions when I ran into him around town, and I was always impressed when he remembered my name. I can imagine that his passing must deeply affect his family, colleagues and friends. Please accept our sincerest condolences. He was one of a kind and gone too soon. -Nancy Lackner and the Indian Creek Nature Center staff team

I'm so sorry and it's shocking to hear this. I met Giacomo at the wedding of my nephew, Pradyut and Michelle in 2022. We had quite lengthy and truly enjoyable discussions around my charcoal art, Italy, Indian food & travel. Will never forget that. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and may his noble soul rest in peace. Lots of strength and love to the family

Myself and my team in the UK pass on our condolences and best wishes. We were lucky to work with Giacomo for many years, he was an exceptional man. He was so kind and thoughtful with me personally, always had a spirit of fun and was enormously charismatic.
Work was important and he pursued it with vitality, challenging us to do our very best but there was always time for a photograph, a great story and inevitably good food somewhere along the way....
From all of us at Grafton UK, we miss Giacomo terribly and we will cherish the time we had with him, lived with such passion and camaraderie. Sending much love and courage to you all

Dear Tormene and Carma Lab family,
I knew Giacomo for almost 10 years, he was an extraordinary human being and a super smart professional. I enjoyed very much every interaction that I had with him from our constant zoom calls during the pandemic to our plans in napkins at restaurants.
I will never forget his story when he got Covid in Athens and had to stay in quarentine for a week in the hotel but with his italian charm managed to go out of the room by day 3.
My dear Giacomo keep smiling and “Vuela alto” my friend!!

We first met with Giacomo during his and Carma Labs visit to Moscow in 2016. Since then it was always a great pleasure to work with him and to talk to him. He was the person you want to be like and look up to.
He always set the bar high for our work. I remember how was important for me to prepare for our annual meetings because I knew that he will listen very carefully and will not miss a single detail.
But, apart of the work, thanks to him I felt like a friend and a family member of the International Carma Labs team.
In one of his last e-mail's he wrote to me:
"By the way, distinti saluti is a very proper and polite way to end a letter/email, but also quite formal… I am, and am sure Jen also, very much ok with… un abbraccio… arrivederci… a presto!" And, after that: "And YES, spero davvero che ci si possa rivedere in Italia in un futuro non troppo lontano!!!"
I'm so sorry that we'll not meet in Italy once again...
I didn't know his family personally, but I heard a lot about it. He also told a story how he met his wife. I was happy to read it now again... My sincere condolences to all of you!
Arrivederci Giacomo!

It is with great sadness that I received the news. Caro Giacomo was a good old friend with whom I have shared a number of international meetings (Ceuta Healthcare and Nicholas Hall) for many years. We were the Latin Southern Europe spirit in Anglosaxon meetings and were proud of it. We used to profit from the annual meetings opportunities to exchange not only on business matters but also on personal and family matters as we had very similar principles in our way of facing life, educating our kids, international vision, etc... It was a long time since we last met, but I will keep in mind those moments when we would hug like Italians and Spaniards like to do with good friends. Giacomo was a great man and so I would like to share with his family in these very difficult moments.
"Un abrazo fuerte"

On behalf of the many friends and colleagues of Giacomo within the Ceuta international alliance, please accept our sincere condolences . Giacomo was such a wonderful person, and I know we are all better people to have had the opportunity to know him. I’ll always remember the way he made everyone feel comfortable, laugh and feel welcome, this along with his deep knowledge, interest, and love of our industry. He has been part of our group for many years and will be sadly missed by all that knew him and valued his friendship. Our thoughts our with you, the family and his much-valued work colleagues . My thoughts and sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of this wonderful man. I met Giacomo at numerous industry conferences and had the pleasure to sit beside him over dinner on more than one occasion. I was always impressed by his commercial acumen and knowledge of our industry but even more impressed by the way he engaged with other delegates. Giacomo had a way of making people feel at ease in his presence with his relaxed manner and genuine interest in other people. Invariably, our conversations would always turn to our respective families and Giacomo would talk openly of his lovely wife, two children and wider family of whom he was so proud. Giacomo was a gentle man in the true sense of the words and I will miss him.

Dear Tormene and Carma Lab family,
We were deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Giacomo and please accept our heartfelt condolences.
Giacomo was a very valued member of our professional community, and he will be greatly missed. He was such a warm-hearted and caring person which we at RFSU AB felt many times, especially during our visit to Carma in September 2022. He had a way of making everyone feel seen besides being a great contributor to the community at Carma. Also, Giacomo was a key player in building strong, long lasting relationsships internationally.
Our thoughts are with you, and everyone affected by this loss.
With deepest condolences,
Annika, Anna and the RFSU family in the Nordics

Sorry for your loss of a great man, husband, father, friend, partner, colleague, and ambassador of Italy. I knew Giacomo from his time at Lil Drug. While I did not work directly with him, whenever i was around him, his happiness, enthusiasm, and love of life & everything Italian shined brightly & was contagious. We even played together once on a company sponsored volleyball team for the Junior Achievement tournament & while I'm not sure he completely understood the game, he jumped in whole heartedly & gave it his all. My thoughts & prayers go out to all his family & friends. God bless you all.
