I was sorry to learn of Dave's passing. I went to high school with him and he was a real joy to be with during those days long ago. I enjoyed catching up with him at our reunions. He will leave a wonderful legacy for his friends and family. My prayers will be with his family.

As one of Dave’s high school classmates, I am indeed saddened upon learning of his passing. His willingness to host many annual reunions at his Marion home was the “glue” holding us together. He always had a positive attitude and will be deeply missed. My sincere condolences to his entire family

David will be so missed by his classmates. He was so much fun and a great friend to all. He was a prankster and someone I really looked forward to seeing when I came home. A lovely man. God Bless his family.

To Dave's family, I had the pleasure of working often with him at Barnes when I was at LeFebure, he was such a joyous, happy individual at all times. May your memories be joyful as he was.

Sue and Dave Soden were two of the nicest kindest people you would ever want to meet. We were blessed to have worked with them in Cub Scouts and in Emerson School Carnivals. Even though later we moved on to different activities, whenever we saw them, it was like we had never been apart…good friends. Though they will be missed, we have seen their good kind attributes in their son Jesse and that gives us comfort. God bless you, Jesse, and your family.

May Dave (and Sue), who tops the list of my family’s closest and dearest friends, rest in peace. For a while now, all of us, along with my family, have been missing Sue. Now that Dave has joined Sue, I know my family will also miss Dave.
Dave was one of my father’s best, closest and dearest friends. I will always remember “Big Dave and Little Dave” dreaming up and participating in numerous adventures. Both planned and unplanned. For some strange reason, the unplanned ones were always plentiful.
One of the things I learned about Dave and Sue was that adventures were an important part of their life together. These adventures always created some kind of comical story, which I hope all of us can remember and share. Both of them loved the kind of friendship that came with adventures. I feel their plan was always to guarantee an adventure will not be too far away.
Dave just joined Sue in the adventure she started 8-1/2 years ago.
While they are on their current adventure together, I, along with the rest of my family, will miss them both.
