Thomas "Tom" Swyers

Born on Nov 27, 1952
Departed on Aug 27, 2023

Tom was a great friend, coworker and mentor. I will miss his jokes, his laugh, his smile and his words of encouragement. He was one of a kind. I'm blessed to have known him.

Our hearts are heavy over the loss of our funny friend. Tom started as an employee and quickly became a treasured friend. His funny, and in some cases highly inappropriate jokes, helped during frustrating and hectic days. Each and every time he walked into the store he was smiling, ready with a story or a joke, and truly happy. He brightened up the day for every person he encountered, leaving us with smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts. We will miss you deeply friend, thank you for being part of our Otter Creek family.

Sincere condolences to the Swyer Family. Tom left this world a better place than the one in which he arrived. The man never failed, there may have been a yew restarts, but he always got it right in the end. Although he was tolerant, he did not suffer fools.

My Dear Brother Tom, I already miss you very much.Brother you will always be in my heart!❤️ I will always remember you as a dad, brother and my friend. when I was little you and Suzie made sure I never went without food, milk or laughter. Many times you didn't eat so I could. I remember calling you for advice about Alan and you were always there to tell me what you thought. Thank you brother. I was so blessed to have you for my brother. I know my Angie will be there to greet you and all the others that have gone before us. I love you and I am so glad God gave you Beth and your great family. I know we will all treasure your great memories. ❤️🤗Love you sister Ginny

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was an awesome guy to be around. I have often wondered what happened to all of the Swyers we became friends with when we all were very young, living beside you all was a great memory. R.I.P Tom
