Oh how I will miss this wonderful human. I’ve only known Juanita for a little over 2 years but it feels like I’ve known her my whole life. She was simply the sweetest most nurturing person and I cherished my time in the salon with her. Together I think we solved a lot of world problems ?? as we had lots of the same beliefs. I will miss her hugs, her wisdom and just her ?? I am SO Blessed I got to meet this special lady. Heaven gained a wonderful Angel ..

Our sympathies from the pharmacy staff at the Hy-Vee grocery store pharmacy on Johnson Ave.

Thank you for sharing the video of Juanita's memorial service, which I was not able to attend. It was great to see her loving family and hear stories about how much joy she brought to their lives. My friendship with Juanita began about eight years ago, and despite the big difference in our ages, she was always easy to talk to and inspired me with her faith and positive outlook on life. When I would join her for lunch at Meth-Wick, she was like a superstar, with so many friends (residents and staff) whom she would greet with her fond teasing style. She will be missed!

What a beautiful service! You truly captured who Juanita was. Marc's testimony was very moving and I know it would fill Juanita with great joy. I only met Juanita 4 years ago, but we quickly became sisters in Christ. Even before she moved to the Woodlands we shared communion weekly. It was a very meaningful time together. Fortunately small communion and wafer cups were available, and we were able to continue sharing communion every Friday. We had a very meaningful visit and sharing of communion the Friday before she went to be with the Lord. I cherish the remembrance of that day. I thank God that I had the opportunity to know her. I will miss spending time with her.
