To The Bear family: I am so sorry for your loss. I have chatted with Don many times at Ellis about his love of golf and family. He sat through many swim meets and cheered Donnie and Warriors on to victories. He was a true Warrior. Always remember the good times and savor and cherish them. He will always be with you. God bless. May peace come to you. Jim Voss

Penny & Family, Please accept my condolences on the loss of Don. He was a lovely man, and I enjoyed volunteering with him at Mass. I shall keep you in my prayers. God Bless, Carol J. Kirkley

To the Bear family , great memories of Mr Bear. Sorry for your loss. Beth Ahart Wolf

Don played golf most days of the week with a large group of friends on the Cedar Rapids public courses. He was a talented golfer most notable for his uncanny ability to make long putts! Don had many "Bearisms", which he freely shared each and every round and are frequently quoted to this day. Don has been missed and will continue to be greatly missed by all of his golfing buddies.

Dear Friends - Dan and Madonna Miller: Sharing our prayers and wishes for peace. God Bless, Your Saturday Foursome in St. Louis (We have made a small online donation in memory of Mr. Bear to the Sunday collection at the Immaculate Conception Church)
