Mary A. Kelchen, 85, of Anamosa, formerly of Monticello, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Castle Grove, Monticello, Iowa with the Rev. Paul Baldwin officiating.

Survivors include her children, Dennis of Sterling, AK, Denise (Roger) Hageman of Cedar Rapids, Kathy Kelchen of Manchester and Kevin (Brenda) of Anamosa; 9 grandchildren, Lucy Bartelds, Joseph Kelchen, Michael (Jennifer) Hageman, Nicholas Hageman, Richard (Cecilia) Dirks, Jessica Kelchen, Holly (Cody) Bright, Nicole (Ryan) Sunderman and Tanner (Amanda Thurm) Kelchen; 14 great grandchildren, D’Neil and Naelynn Bartelds and Mattie Angel; Ashley, Braden and Brianna Hageman; Jaxen and Max Johnson; Carson, Kyler and Corbyn Bright; Ayla and Jordyn Sunderman; and Kashton Kelchen.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Kelchen in 1995, and two half-brothers, Emil Feldman and Walter Feldman. 

Mary Agatha Feldman was born June 24, 1937, in Monticello, the daughter of John and Marguerite (Holub) Feldman. On August 30, 1955, she married Robert Kelchen at Castle Grove, IA.
