Memorial

William Lee Blake Jr., 18 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM at the chapel.  The burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. 

William Lee Blake Jr. was born on December 07, 2003, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of William Sr. and Angela (Wynn) Blake.   Will worked for Ovation Networks.  He enjoyed playing video games, tinkering with computers and electronics, learning about history, and listening to jazz. Will was bright, compassionate, generous, caring, and had a big heart.   Will had a great love for animals, especially the two family cats. He will forever be remembered as a wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  

Those left to honor Will “Lee” include his mother, Angela Blake; a sister, Melody Blake; numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.   He was preceded by his father, William Blake Sr.
