Susan Gordon

Departed on Oct 27, 2022

I listened to Susan on KMRY for many years - she was my company on my commute home from work, and I always enjoyed her banter with Jim or the wonderful folks at KCRG. She made me smile and laugh every day, and by the time I got home, I had left the worries of the day behind. Thank you, Susan, for being you!

We were neighbors back at the apartments on 29th st dr, and helped me through her Father with some legal issues. Very kind person. And, going a bit further back, we were corner neighbors when her parents were on 27th st dr and we lived on 2nd Ave. Remember sledding on their hill, great family. Susan always had that glow, being happy.

And don't forget WMT! She made buying gift certs there such a joy- love the laughter!

Loved going to work 2nd shift listening to you on kmry making me laugh.

The Pediatric Urology Ladies loved listening to you on KMRY. You and Joe Winters were always fun to listen to. You will be missed but never forgotten. RIP my friend.

I am Susan’s 2nd cousin and I want to share my fondest memory of her! When I was around 13 and went to Cedar Rapids Iowa to spend time with my aunt Kathy, she took me to the radio station Susan worked! I got to go into the booth and watch her do her magic on the mic! It was AMAZING! She was so charismatic and fun to listen to! And seeing her in that element…I thought she was my one and only famous cousin!! Rest in peace Susan! You will be missed!

We and our four Sullivan children were saddened to learn of Susan's death. The good ole days on 2nd Ave/27th St. It was always great to hear her on the radio and see her at events. Sending hugs to mom and her sisters.

I miss hearing you at 300pm shift. You and Eric walker and Ricky Bartlett and the weather guy Joe winters is the best on 93.1 KMRY.
