Randy Mogensen

Born in Des Moines, IA
Born on Feb 18, 1964
Departed on Nov 23, 2022

My heart goes out to Randy's wife and his daughters, and the rest of his family. It's incredibly sad to hear he's gone so soon. I'll always remember the good times in Drama class, in theatre and singing together in choir and the North Star Singers, he was so much fun to be around. When I joined Facebook there were so many people from high school who were unkind and unfriendly, but not Randy, he was always smiling and laughing, but also that real friend who you could always see was close, standing by in support of you, ready to step up if he saw that he was needed. I'm always gonna remember him that way. Rest forever in peace, Mogie. See you on the other side, Lisa McAninch Carlson #LoveWins

This is a tough one. I don't know where to start with my memories, I'm all over the place but of course the one memory that always sticks out in my mind is when Lanie was born and you and I couldn't figure out for the life of us how to work a car seat for when you guys were bringing her home from the hospital. Another memory that I have is that you stole my best friend and I didn't even hate you. I loved you from the moment I met you. You're like family to me Randy and you will be missed. Fly high with Lainie my friend. To Kim, Morgan, Chloe, Mars, Connie, & Brenda, I'm so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Kim, Chloe, and Morgan I was so lucky to have met Randy. He was genuine, easy going and thoughtful. He took pride in being a respectful loving son, in his work, his relationship with Kim and the beautiful family he built. He was a great girl dad! My sincere condolences to you all, including Greg, Eric, and baby Marz. Heaven has gained a gentle soul.
