Memorial

James H. Robinson Sr., 84, of Center Junction, Iowa passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Heritage Nursing & Rehab Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: 4300 Trailridge Rd SE, Cedar Rapids, IA. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. 

James H. Robinson was born on May 24, 1937, in Bermuda the son of Bernard and Grace (Romaine) Robinson.  He was united in marriage to Freda Moniz on September 29, 1960, in Bermuda.  James enjoyed Fishing and boating.   He will be remembered as a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, and friend.  

He is survived by his wife, Freda Robinson of Center Junction, IA; three children, Valerie Willard of Cedar Rapids, IA; Donna Robinson of Center Junction, IA; and Kevin (Jessica) Robinson of Cedar Rapids, IA; seven grandchildren, Anna Robbins, Desiree Bettmeng, Ava Robinson, Gretta Robinson, Melissa Robinson, Kaylin Robinson, and Corey Robinson; four great-grandchildren, David Lovell, Jemasi Graham, Blake Sennett, and Callie Sennett; seven siblings, and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  

James was preceded by his parents, a son, James Robinson Jr. and a great-granddaughter, Jermina Graham. 

Though this life may be gone, you will forever be alive in the hearts of those who love you and will live forever in heaven until we see each other again in the presence of our Holy God and Savior Jesus.
