Cordal Rayvon Rayshawn Lewis also known as CVO, died at the age of 19 on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. The service will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church: 6621 C Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Cordal Lewis was born on August 2nd, 2002, the son of Pamela Lovette and Corey Lewis. Shortly after his birth, his family relocated to lowa. After spending most of his adolescent years in Clinton. Cordal and his family moved to Cedar Rapids.There, he attended McKinley Middle School and George Washington High School. While attending Washington High School, he enjoyed playing basketball for the warriors.
Cordal’s favorite hobbies were playing basketball, swimming, going to the movies. He loved going to the park with his nieces and nephews as well as his little cousin. Cordal was also very passionate about music. Cordal found a new talent and was trying to reach his goal of becoming a rap musician.
We would just like for everyone to remember Cordal as being one of the most caring, loving, brightest, funniest, happiest person you know. Cordal will be loved and missed deeply.
Cordal’s is survived by his parents Pamela Lovette and Corey Lewis of Cedar Rapids, IA; long-time girlfriend, Ambresha Coffer; his son, Cordal Lavon Laron Lewis Jr. all of Cedar Rapids, IA; grandparents; Ollie Mae Lovette, Willie Gaston of Chicago IL; Kenneth Davis of Clinton, IA; his siblings, Domonique Lewis, Corey Jr. Lewis, Cordejha Lewis, and Corsha Lewis all of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his nieces and nephews, Shanique Smallwood, Shauntus Jr. Smallwood, De’Shaun Smallwood, Sincere Lewis, Kyrie Lewis, Sariyah Lewis, Zayana Lewis, A’hmire Jenville; and his beloved pets, Miyha, and CoCo.
He is preceded by his little brother, Cortrail Lewis and his grandmother, Fannie Davis.
