Memorial

Neva Marie Cawthorne, 89, of Fairfax, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021. A public visitation will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2021, 1:00-2:00pm, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00pm. Burial at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Neva was born March 12, 1932 in Wellman, IA; the daughter of Ernie and Alma (Strum) Hole. She was united in marriage to David Cawthorne in 1983. She was a longtime resident of Fairfax. Neva enjoyed a career as a bookkeeper with Life Investors (Aegon), retiring after 30 years. She had a love for sewing and square dancing, which she toured the country for. 

Neva is survived by her sons, Tony (Pamela) Fabor and Marshall (Bonnie) Fabor; sisters, Margaret Niles and Doris French; brother, Vernie Hole; and a large extended family.

Neva was preceded in death by her husband, David Cawthorne; parents; and brother, Donald Hole.
