Deborah Stiles

Born in Marshalltown, IA
Born on Nov 1, 1953
Departed on Oct 13, 2021

My deepest sympathy to all of the Stiles family. I hired Deb in CCU at St Lukes and thoroughly working with her. She was a good nurse and cared for the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

Deb was amazing, truly. Her heart for serving was endless. My girls were both recipients of her caring and ministry. The funny thing to me, is how completely she gave of herself without ever making anyone feel they were the 'object' of her ministry! Instead, she left people feeling that she loved and appreciated THEM. And isn't that just what Jesus does? I can only imagine her joy and child-like awe at this new adventure. Tom, Brian, Brad, Kimberly - my love goes out to you at this great loss. Steven Curtis Chapman has a song he wrote that one line says something like "where every sad thing will be made untrue". In these shadowlands we are in, this seems impossible. Praying for you all, and sending our love. Winona & Chris LaBarr

Debbie and her husband Tom Stiles are my next door neighbors. Debbie was one of my best friends for over 16 years. Her mom lived in my house before she passed away. Debbie was full of life, energy, joy, caring, kindness. Debbie held Bible studies from her home. Her family was very important her her and Tom. She treated us like her own family?Debbie loved my daughter. We would try to be there for Tom and Debbie whenever they needed us. Debbie made us face masks with her sewing machine. She would make me crafts for my kitchen. I loved Debbie like a mom. She will be greatly missed. I will never forget my best friend Debbie. She was a Godly christian. Condolences, prayers for her whole family. I was devastated hearing of her passing. But I know she will be one of God's angels in Heaven. Sincerely, Lisa Schulte

Stiles Family, Debbie will be sorely missed. She had the brightest smile and the biggest heart. She was a hard worker and servant and she thrived doing it. My heart is broken for you all. You are tight, she is indeed with the Lord, and her smile is brighter than ever. Please allow that to comfort you during this difficult time.

Stiles family, Deb was a beautiful servant of her Jesus. She was a beautiful friend and mentor to many. I enjoyed hearing testimony of the missions trips she went on and her adventures. She was a church camp council for our three daughters. My children have fond memories of her and her kind spirit. She was a wonderful example to many of her devotion to Jesus. She preferred others over herself and she really cared about those in need. I loved her smile it was pure joy of the Lord. She will be missed and may the Lords love comfort you all. ??

So, so sorry your family has to go through this. Please know that our family is grieving with you so deeply. There are no words to express ours and our girls’ love for you all. Deb was a GREAT gal and we look forward to spending eternity with her. May God bless you and keep you. Please let us know if there is anything we can help you with.

Brad and family I'm so very sorry for your loss.

My Sympathy to your family. I had the pleasure of working with Deb for several years. I am so saddened by her passing, but I cherish her Christmas Santa she made for me years ago. She was beyond talented.

I am so sorry for your loss. Deb was a great nurse and I am proud to have worked with her. She loved being a nurse and gave her best to both patients and her coworkers. She lived her faith. She was so proud of her kids, sharing stories of them with a smile on her face. I'll miss that smile.
