Johanna N. Goyer, 98, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning 10:00 a.m. at the chapel.  Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. 

“Following the continued proclamations issued by the Governor, physical distancing must be practiced which may require a limited number of people allowed into a visitation at one time and limited seating available at services. The use of facial coverings is strongly encouraged.”

Johanna was born on November 12, 1922 the daughter of William and Olive Brose in Saint Paul, Minnesota.  She married William Goyer in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Johanna was employed as an inspector at Rockwell Collins from 1943 to 1981. Johanna enjoyed gardening, traveling, crossword puzzles, watching religious programs, game shows, playing the organ, and especially spending time with her family.  She will be deeply missed by all you knew and loved her.

Johanna is survived by her two sisters, Rosie Berger of California; Clara Dye of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband William Goyer; and a brother, Carl Brose.
