Ted was such a great guy to be around and play with and just a good friend. He was a very tough out, great hitter and learned how to pitch and became a very decent hurler later in his career. But it was his spirit, humor and joy of being on the diamond and with his friends that really set him apart. He made every softball field he played on a better place when he was there. (love he's wearing a Storm uni here - one of the year's we were teammates and played for my Dad.)

So sorry to hear about Ted. I offer my condolences to the family. I also had the privilege working with Ted and his sisters for many years and of knowing the family since the mid 70's. I have many fond memories of Ted and also working with his daughters, also of hanging out with his parents and siblings. His family was and still is exceptionally hospitable. My wife Lorraine and I send our love.

I am very sorry to hear of Ted’s passing. Ted was one of the first people to stop by my office welcoming me to the Cedar Rapids Plant, those many years ago. He was always kind and encouraging whenever our paths crossed during my time at the plant.

You could never get by Ted without a big smile and hello. He loved his cars and when he drove by, he made sure to honk. If we were in the yard, he would stop to show off his toy. No matter what life chapter he was in, he took time to talk. I never had to ask about his girls as he was very proud of them and always updated us. He will be missed down here on earth but heaven's a better place now. Ron and Sandy
