To the entire Skogman family, We are so sorry to hear about LaJuana. I always enjoyed seeing and visiting with your mother ...what a classy lady. We are thinking of you during this difficult time. Bev & Jim Nowak

To the beautiful Skogman family, We are so very sorry to learn LaJuana has passed away. She was always a beautiful, radiant and happy woman. She was seen so often with her dear family. Marty has special memories of LaJauna and Roy with Zona and Forrest in Cedar Rapids and in Florida. The four of them had a lot of fun together and Zona and LaJuana enjoyed many good times after their husbands passed away. We hope your faith, family, friends and many good memories will sustain you at this time. We send each of you our deepest sympathy.

My sincere condolences! Your mom was an amazing woman, neighbor and true friend to our family. She was an inspiration to all. I am confident that we will meet again in Heaven; her faith was a role model for all Christians. Peace, prayers and love. Linda vovLackum Buchholz

To the Skogman family, We send you our prayers and sincere condolences at this very difficult time. Your Mother was just a spectacular, lovely woman! We met her when my Dad, Bert Katz, was living at Cottage Grove Place. Every night after visiting with him, we would stop and talk to your Mom and Susie who were sitting in the lobby (in the winter they moved to Sedlacek Hall by the fireplace), and we'd visit them in there. Your Mom talked all the time about her kids and grandchildren. She absolutely adored all of you and the time she spent with you. How lucky you were to have such a wonderful Mother!! I must say that she ALWAYS looked gorgeous!! She was beautifully dressed, hair and makeup perfect. What a lady!! Sending you prayers and peace as you deal with this very difficult loss. God Bless all you you and your family. Toni and Giora Neta

I was so sorry to read of your mother's passing today. Myra and I are praying for you all. She had a good long life with a wonderful family...what more could you ask for?

Rick, Marilyn, Chris, Britt, and the entire Skogman family, I am so sorry for your loss. While I don't think I ever had the opportunity to meet her, she sounds like an incredible lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To The Skogman Family....I send my condolences and prayers to you all. Lucile Barry, a friend of mine, had such love for all of you.........

It was my pleasure to know her for more than 50 years.. We first met at a coaches retreat for Washington high school. I had the pleasure of working with her children, and got to know her better at Cottage Grove Place. She was kind to everyone and was a friend to my wife. A great lady, I join in celebrating her life. Her legacy is reflected by the great impact she had on others. Willliam C. and Mary Jane Jacobson Cottage Grove Residents

I have known Mrs. Skogman 20+ years as a server at CRCC. She was a women of grace- always so kind. We also attended the same church-Perry was always able to get a chuckle out of her on Sunday mornings. deepest sympathies, Kim & Perry Valdez

To the entire Skogman family .... we send our deepest sympathy to you all. LaJuana was a delight to know and very gracious. She insisted my mom (whom she had never met) come to see her condo when she learned my parents were the first residents of that unit. What a lovely invitation and great indicator of her warmth and friendliness. Our hearts are with you all. Most sincerely, Sue & Ron Olson

You are in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. Your Mother was so thoughtful and nice! I'm glad I got to know her. We went to the FBC-COB and we talked often after Church. Bob & Mary Pavlicek

This woman was a force of nature. I am heartbroken to hear of her passing. I never saw her without a smile on her face and perfectly dressed. The love she gave so freely to her family will continue to live inside anyone blessed enough to know her. I would like to especially thank her for bringing Mr Drew Skogman into the world. He is one of the finest men I’ve ever known. My family is grateful to have Drew, Jo Ann, Erick, Jennifer & (Corey’s favorite) Matthew in our lives. My life is better for having you in it. Thank you. We adore all of you and wish you love & strength during this difficult time. Corey, Amy, Graham & Mitchell Brinkmeyer

We would like to send our condolences to the entire Skogman family. LaJuana was a wonderful sister-in-law to me and was very good to my Dad Erick Skogman. My Dad was very proud to take her out to lunch often when he was living in Cedar Rapids. She had a very infectious smile and could light up a room with good cheer! You are in our thoughts and prayers. Earl and Betty Skogman

Jim and I want to send our heartfelt sympathies to all the Skogmans. We have such fond memories of spending time with your parents at your house and especially the cabin on Coralville Lake. Your mom was always so warm and welcoming. She will be missed by all those who had the opportunity to know her and spend time with her.
