Gayle L. (Sauerbry) Leeper, Age 61, of Manchester, IA passed away at the Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, IA on Saturday, June 5, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be offered at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery-Mt. Moriah on Friday, June 11 at 2:00 PM with the certified celebrant, Jim Parton officiating.

Gayle was born on August 22, 1959 in Greely, IA, she is the daughter of Norma and the late Wayne Sauerbry. On December 17, 2004, Gayle married Jim Leeper in Manchester, IA. Gayle enjoyed cooking, shopping, baking, and she always had a heart for children.

Those left to cherish Gayle’s memory are her husband, Jim; her daughters, Cami and Carrie; her grandson, Derrek; brothers, Brad and John Sauerbry; her mother Norma Sauerbry; sisters-in-law, Patrice (Beauford) Sligh and Becky (Pat) Lynch; two nephews, Jacob and Michael Lynch. She was preceded in death by her father, and her special cat Frosty.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the ICU at Mercy Hospital for all of the care and support they showed to Gayle while she was in their care.
