To Frank friends and family, Your have my deep heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Frank was one of a kind. So considerate of others and always willing to lend a helping hand. He would tease me sometimes. ( He got that sense of humor from his mother Mary!) He had us join at the Czech museum. And was always fun at Sociables, Church potlucks, Fun nights, and loved to laugh and have a good time. He and Mary both helped out at UMW dinners, bazaars and rummage sales. Frank was a willing, hard worker, but made work enjoyable. I was privileged to know him, and call him friend. In Christ, Pastor Denise Anderberg

Dear edmunds family. Sorry for your loss. I had many happy memories with your parents. I used to babysit for them. Also many wonderful times at st James church. Memories can never be taken from us therefore they both will always be with us. ????.

Your parents were both worker bees for the community in so many ways be it their love of their church, heritage, school to name a few. Many childhood memories of their involvement jumping in the car and on their way to help out or lead a community need. They were the reason so many Cedar Rapids Community projects were so well organized and did so well. Rest in peace Frank. Amen.

To the children a Frank an Barbara Edmunds we are so sorry to see that they have both passed away. We love them dearly since we’ve known them when we were teenagers and attending Saint James church. I always look forward to seeing your mom at Hy-Vee store on Johnson Avenue I really will miss her and your dad

To the children of Frank and Barbara Edmunds: Your mom and dad were the best people ever. They consistantly worked to serve their community and make Cedar Rapids a great place to live. Their giving to others exceeded expectations. I remember a day at St James UMC when Frank came in to straighten out the hangers and asked if he could redo the pencil holders on the pews. Your mom said he needed something to do...he was OCD. I said "a okay" Be of good cheer both your parents were very loved by God. May you find peace and consolation in this time of loss. Blessings on you all. Hoping some of you have followed in their tradition of Service. Sincerely Pastor Susan E Detwiler

So sorry to hear both your father and mother's passing in the last few months. We had a lot of fun times joking around at work. I remember your mom coming into Colonial to speak to your dad. She was always so friendly to everyone. Being in the stockroom at the time of the plant closing, I was the last one out the door. Out of about 100 people I'm sorry to say I not seen anyone after the closing. I hope your parents last year's were peaceful and their memories live forever.
