Memorial

James Allen Kvetensky, 49, of Marion, IA, passed away July 15, 2021 at Unity Point-St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA.  There will be no visitation because of COVID.  There will be a chapel service Tuesday, July 20th at 1 pm at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.

He was born July 26, 1971 in Iowa City, IA, the son of William and Martha Kvetensky.  Jim was a manager of Coastal Mart for ten years and worked for Roto Rooter for ten years.  He was affiliated with Squaw Creek Baptist Church in Marion, IA.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved life and helping others. 

Survivors include his daughter Kristin, his mother Martha and his ex-wife Lisa Kvetensky.  Two special cousins Gail Brunius of Houston, TX and Robert Brunius of Orcus Island, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Kvetensky.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
