Memorial

Constance M. Nost, 74, of Toddville, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021. A public visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 5:00-7:00pm at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom. A private family funeral service and burial will take place on Friday, January 22, 2021. Constance Marie George was born on December 24, 1946 in Cedar Rapids. Connie was united in marriage to William Nost on January 11, 1969. She worked for Collins Radio for 5 years followed by Quaker Oats for 35 years before retiring. Connie was a longtime member of St George Orthodox Church in Cedar Rapids, as well as Parker’s Grove Baptist Church in Shellsburg. 

Connie is survived by her husband, William Nost; children, Todd Nost, Devonne (Randy) Cooper, Tonya Nost (Nelson Silva); grandchildren, Austin Nost, Nathan Nost, Jordan Nost, Bailey Cooper, Brianna Dietz, Hannah Cooper, Levi Cooper, Braydon Silva, Parker Nost, Connor Cooper; great-grandchildren, Alex Nost, Braelynn Nost, and Draven Nost; and silblings, Ann Wilcox, Patti Gipson, and Alex George. 

Connie was preceded in death by her father, Alex George Sr.; mother and step-father, Mayo and Dale Feight; and granddaughter, Chloe Cooper.
