We are so sorry for your loss and know your Dad was so proud to have you as his family. Roger grew up with him in Sac City and I was fortunate to have been his Realtor both in Muscatine & Marion. Our paths through life crossed many times and he was a delight to know. I enjoyed his love for family heirlooms and the stories that went with them. Uncle Ron will be remembered by his laugh. Whenever our families would plan time together I can remember everyone looking forward it, kids and adults. Many of my best childhood memories have Ron, Glenda, Lynette and Lance woven into them with the farm in the background. I was happy to learn that Ron got to cross over in his own house while watching a game. Wishing his loved ones peace, love, time and sweet reflection. I am so sad to see this! Ron & I re-connected a couple years ago via Facebook. Wow, I am in Tucson. Can you say "so close, but so far away". We had talked briefly about getting together and now I wish that would have come true. Ron was actually a friend to myself and my mother. What a kind man! My deepest condolences to his entire family! May you all find comfort in the memories he gave you.
