Roy A. Troxel, Age 62, passed away at the UnityPoint St. Luke’s Hospital on Thursday, December 2, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

A visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial-Westside Chapel on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 10 AM until service time at 12 noon with the Certified Celebrant, Dr. James Coyle officiating. Interment will be offered at the Bear Creek Cemetery in Brandon, IA.

Roy was born on February 5, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, IA. The son of the late Clifford and Ann (Frondle) Troxel. Roy loved his family and the time he got to spend with him, and he also loved his truck.

Those left to cherish Roy’s memories are his siblings, Joyce (Delbert) King, of Marengo, IA, and John (Billi) Troxel of Cedar Rapids, IA, and many nieces, and nephews. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Dale Gorsh, sister, Donna Gorsh, two nephews, Lantz, Robert, and his sister-in-law, Nancy.

The family wishes to thank the entire staff at St. Luke’s Hospital for all the love and support, they showed Roy while he was in their care.
