Margaret "Maggie" Viola Lanning, L.P.N, C.C.D.N. was born December 4, 1930, to Ivar and Emmy Peterson, at Bessemer, Michigan, and died December 16, 2021 in Marion, Iowa.

A visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 1 to 3 PM and 5 to 7 PM.

She was preceded in death by one sister, 3 brothers, and twin infant sons.

She is survived by 5 children; "Cile" Nabers (Mark) of San Antonio, TX; Scott Lanning (Sue Lewis) of Hubbard, OR; "Tina" Joyce Dietzgen of Marion, IA;

Laurence "Larry " Lanning (Marie)of Bessemer, MI; and Greg Kennedy (Elvie) of Cedar Rapids, IA; 3 grandchildren. 2 step-grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
