Sympathy to you on the passing of your mother. (saw her obit in The Gazette today) I'm Herb & Joyce Konigsmark's daughter. Your mom was very special & much loved by my grandma, Agnes Konigsmark. When my grandma lived in Cedar Rapids, we'd go to see her & would sometimes also see Helen at her house. She was friendly to us (great smile & laugh) & also helpful to my grandma. I also remember your mom stopping at my parent's house (in Mason City) many times on her way to Shakopee to see one of you two sons. After Gram passed away (2002- she'd moved to MC so my parents could provide more help to her) & after my dad passed away (2006), I lost track of your mom. She was a sweet person & I appreciate her kindness & help with my grandma! I don't know much of the family history, altho know your mom was Grandma's niece. I want to delve more into geneology of the Kolar & Konigsmark side of my family- some day! If there's some info. you can share, it would be helpful. My mom passed away 9 mos. ago, so (as POA), much of my time has been spent handling everything. It's tough to lose a mom. Again, my sympathy is extended to you.

Dear Ron & Ray, I was saddened to read (belatedly) of your mom's passing. She was a very nice lady and always very friendly. I remember her and your dad well. I remember once selling you some tropical fish and bringing them over to your house on MVR when we lived around the corner from you on 32nd. That's been so many years ago now. I hope you are both well and will accept my sympathy for your great loss. God Bless your mother.
Sincerely,
Andy Weaver
