Linda L. Buelow, 73, of Cedar Rapids passed away April 28, 2021 at Unity Point St. Luke’s Hospital. A public visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 4 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories Stateroom. A public service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Center Point on Wednesday, May 5 at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation at 10:00 A.M.  

 Following the continued guidance from health officials, physical distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people allowed into the visitation at one time. The use of facemasks or shields is required.

Linda was born October 9, 1947 in Cedar Rapids. She married the love of her life LeRoy Buelow February 17, 1968 in Center Point. For many years she ran her own daycare. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, cooking, decorating cakes and catering local events. She also enjoyed singing, shopping, and camping with the Ketelsen Camping Group. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends.    

Linda is survived by her husband LeRoy of Cedar Rapids; children Rick (Angie) Buelow of Center Point, Becky (Scott) Person of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren Nicole (Tim) Neunaber of Center Point, Megan (Rohan) Bhatnagar of Center Point, Mitch (Karla) Buelow of Okinawa, Japan, Mariah Peck (Ryan Mains) of Cedar Rapids, Brittany Buelow (Jeremy Lukaszka) of Palo, Halle Person (Shane Smyth) of Cedar Rapids, Mike, Nathan, and Bryon Buelow all of Center Point; along with eight great grandchildren; mother-in-law Corkey Buelow of Marion, sisters Teri (Rei) Tuomala of Cedar Rapids, Helen (Jim) Yeisley of Springville, Mary (Butch) Hartgrave of Cedar Rapids; special cousin Randie Jones of Independence; two brother and sister in laws; along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Maxine Jones, father-in-law Albert Buelow, and brother Walter Jones Jr.
