My sincere condolences to Marge and Russ. Bob was always a kind uncle. Unfortunately the last time I saw him was way back in 1991 when he and Katy and Tom and LaVonne came to visit us in Rochester, NY. I really enjoyed introducing them to our 2 year old daughter Audrey and giving them a tour of the Rochester area. I remember driving them around the beautiful Finger Lakes region. I also remember walking them down to the lower falls of the Genesee river where salmon were returning from the Atlantic ocean to spawn and the riverbanks were lined with fisherman (if you can call them that) were standing shoulder to shoulder casting snagging hooks to try to snag a fish. Not a real pretty sight but also not something you would see in Iowa. I know I have some pictures of Bob when they visited and will try to find them. Until then I posted a picture of his brother/my father Tom during that visit.

My deepest sympathy to Marge and Russ, and Wade and Michelle. I have lovely childhood memories of spending time with Uncle Bob and Aunt Katie, their kindnesses and sense of humor. May you rest in peace, Uncle Bob.
