Kathy, I want you to know the image I always have (& always will have) whenever Pete’s name is mentioned. One morning when Mom still lived in Cedar Rapids, I was out for my morning walk when Pete drove by & saw me. He immediately stopped the car in the middle of the street & jumped out & ran over to give me a hug! That blew my mind & I’ll always picture him with a big grin & open arms! He was definitely somebody special??????
